Emily Yevell Feliz Garcia
Founder & Managing Attorney

Emily Feliz Garcia is the proud daughter of hardworking immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic and the first in her family to attend college and become an attorney in the United States. Born in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, she spent her early childhood immersed in the rich culture, strong family bonds, and deep faith that shape Dominican life. These formative years instilled in her enduring values of perseverance, humility, and compassion—principles that continue to guide her both personally and professionally.

At the age of eight, Emily immigrated to the United States with her family in pursuit of a better future. The transition was challenging, requiring her to navigate a new language, culture, and legal system at a young age. This experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the uncertainty, resilience, and determination required of immigrant families. After initially living in New York, her family eventually settled in Cincinnati, Ohio, the community she proudly calls home and now serves.

From an early age, Emily developed a strong sense of justice and a desire to advocate for individuals and families who often feel unheard or overlooked within the legal system. Her own journey as an immigrant, coupled with the sacrifices of her parents and the strength of her Dominican roots, inspired her commitment to ensuring that others have access to opportunity, stability, and fair treatment under the law.
Before attending law school, Emily built more than thirteen years of professional experience working as a Senior Paralegal, Office Manager, for various law firms. This extensive background provided her with a deep understanding of legal practice, client advocacy, and firm operations—experience that later became the foundation for building and leading a growing law firm.

Emily earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law and was admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio in November 2021. Since becoming an attorney, she has dedicated her legal career to representing individuals and families with integrity, compassion, and determination, drawing from her own lived experience as an immigrant to guide her advocacy.

Today, Emily Feliz Law has grown into a thriving, multi-attorney practice supported by a team of dedicated legal professionals serving clients through two office locations. While the firm remains deeply rooted in immigration law, its practice has expanded to place a strong and growing focus on criminal defense, family law, and civil matters, allowing the firm to provide more comprehensive legal support to individuals and families at critical moments in their lives. The firm represents clients in a wide range of matters, including immigration cases such as family-based petitions, consular processing, provisional waivers, asylum, naturalization, DACA, SIJS, VAWA, U visas, and adjustment of status. In addition, the firm handles criminal and traffic matters, domestic relations and family law cases, and civil disputes, offering clients continuity and trusted advocacy across multiple areas of law.

Attorney Emily Feliz Garcia is known for her professionalism, integrity, and compassionate approach to advocacy. She believes that protecting clients means more than understanding the law—it means taking the time to truly listen, understand each client’s story, and develop thoughtful strategies grounded in both legal skill and human empathy. This philosophy guides the entire firm and shapes its client-centered culture. Fluent in English and Spanish, Attorney Feliz Garcia and her bilingual legal team proudly serve a diverse range of clients. The firm is committed to providing respectful, ethical, and effective representation to every individual, guided by the belief that everyone deserves dignity, fairness, and a meaningful opportunity to move forward.

Outside of her legal practice, Emily enjoys singing in her church choir, traveling, and spending time with her parents, sister, husband, and four children. Giving back to the community remains central to her mission. For Attorney Feliz Garcia, success is not defined by titles or recognition, but by the lives she helps protect and the families she helps strengthen—one case at a time
